Hello Good People,

I thought I would take a moment from boxing up shelf scenics for the show and invite everyone to come visit the Hudson & Allen Studio rooms. We will have 2 rooms again this year with our one-of-a-kind shelf scenics. Last year our products set off what can only be called a "grass frenzy" by manufacturers this past year. Come see in person what everyone else is trying to imitate. If you didn't make it to our room last year, here is a clip from Toy Soldier TV.

Tony Neville tells us it was the most view clip from the show last year! As we get closer to the show we will post some preview pictures. We should have our room open late Thursday, Please stop by and visit us!
All the Best,
Ericka Osen

PS- We will also have a selection of rare and used Military history and uniform books from the library of James Kochan.

We will give Don a call to see what our room numbers are. I believe we will be in a different location than we were last year.
Ericka and I will post a couple of sneak peeks of our new dioramas on Sunday night.
See you in Chicago... We should be open by Thursday afternoon.
Ken

Ken - Thanks again for the excellent fall "cliff" shelf diorama I purchased last year in Chicago. You shipped to me ( I was worried about damage ) but it arrived in PERFECT condition.

I hope to add another this year. For those interested, get by one of his rooms, the displays are tremendous and breathtaking. Most ( many ) sold out within the first days of room trading.

I will bring the pencil sketching to match up my exisiting shelf diorama and you guys can make me a matching or add-on to it after the show...

Looking forward to our visit...

Showman,
If you can, could you post a picture of your shelf diorama. Thanks in advance.

Other gem from the master of shelf dioramas along with the new AWI figures. Would be nice to spend time with you both Ericka in Chi Town and to see what else you've brought to the show. Have a safe trip to and from the show and looking forward to the show photos......Joe

Ken,

Hello all,
Well, we know that the Chicago show is here because our studio is a sea of boxes waiting to go into the trailer. Just about everything is ready except for finishing those last minute projects: final clean-up on a few shelf scenics, hanging curtains in windows, trimming lawns, finishing the interiors of the factories, the list goes on! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hi All!
Well another OTSN show is behind us, we are back home and trying to clear up the mess we created before we left.
I thought I would take a moment to post some images of a few of the 11" X 28" shelf dioramas that we sold at the show. We hope to have a Website up and running for H&A after the first of the year so we can post more comprehensive explanations of our work for you.
This first Diorama is simply a cobble stone road just outside a small village. I have placed a 21st Century King Tiger on it with an ONWTC crewman and a W. Britain Kettenkrad for scale.

I have added a bit of foliage and a dusting to the Tiger II to make it a bit more natural. I really need to make some time to repaint and detail another one.

The Kettenkrad and crew are form the first year that 1st gear owned W. Britain and still holds up well. I thought the camo pattern on the smocks reproduced pretty close to my paint master.

Here is another one that Ericka and I call 'Tobacco Road'. It just seemed like a classic for ACW so we posed some of the W. Britain Rebs I sculpted on it.

Here is a close up of the split rail fencing, crops and wildflowers...

Here is another simple one that is easy to tell a story with...
I placed some WWII figures I sculpted for W. Britain and ONWTC to give you a sense of scale.
A couple of Feld Division grenadiers high tail it off the road and into a farmers field with a group of GIs hot on their heels. One can only wonder if they will make it to their lines safely...

All three of these were shipped to their new owners today!
