The Barzo castle was awesome, and really reasonably priced! If it is still around when my son turns five, he is getting the coolest birthday present ever!

When I arrived at the show Wednesday afternoon I saw the display and was simply floored. Medievals were my 1st collection when I got back into 54mm. I need this like another hole in the head but I know I'll have to get one.
It is gorgeous and very reasonably priced. Loved the hoarding on the towers.
Fantastic!

I was told the display castle sold for $650.00. Not sure if that included any figures at all, I think not. But they had available several different playsets with different keeps, gateways walls and figures. Then you can buy more walls, towers , whatever you want to build your castle to suit your needs.
I was too busy and my fevered brain was overloaded by the entire event to sit down and decide right then.
The KC Crusaders looked fantastic set up with the castle parts in Hobby Bunkers room.I'm in trouble again!

FUB:rolleyes:

Hi Fubar,

The basic castle: Nottingham Castle, comes with the keep, gate wall w/working drawbridge and 2 approach ramps (outside and inside of castle) and two standard walls. 1 tower is an integral part of each of the above - so you have 4 towers. Tower tops can be crenelated or cone-shape roof.. mix and match up to a total of four - no extra charge.. This sells for $299.95 For more details on pricing of individual pieces go to barzso.com... I haven't gotten everything listed yet - but hope to catch up in the next day or two.

And you're right - with additional walls, town buildings, tower extensions, etc. this castle is extremely customizable.. make it as large as you like... you can even have a couple of gate walls if you want...

BTW, I ended up with the display castle and town buildings... not the figures however (they're coming) ....It'll make a great display in my basement!

Thx,

Jim

That's the one!!!!!!!!!
Found some nice elastolin 70mm Siege equipment in my storeroom. Trebuchet, siege tower, assorted lesser catapults.
Anxious to see what else you have come up with.Plan on going all out, one last time.

You're addressing a 7 yr old post. Think they probably moved on.

They say it's to be reissued with new gate house this April. I was addressing that news from the designer.
Move along.
