Here are hundreds of pictures taken at the Chicago Show a couple of days ago.
Why so many? There were many sellers and even more buyers. Post COVID policies seemed a memory. Matt did an outstanding job with the show and the venue. He made lots of last-minute changes to accommodate everyone and it seemed to work.
It seemed there was plenty of money being exchanged. There seemed to be a great mix of toy soldiers being offered (diorama materials, metal and plastics).
Andy (King & Country) was there and was charming and mixing with all of the collectors. I enjoyed that.
I think the only manufacture represented was William Britains. Ken, Erica, Ted, Doug and company were terrific and their displays were outstanding. Ken teased me about possible WW2 US Army releases next year. He held his cards closed but did say expect more figures and vehicles too come. I can’t wait! Has anyone else noticed the increased quality detail in their recent releases latterly?
