Hello folks,
We are a week away from room trading! The long wait and anticipation is over!
We have over 200 dealer tables booked. We will have about -90 dealers doing room trading. We still have a few tables available.
The room trading as of today will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.
I just got the list from the hotel 5 minutes ago - so no assignments have been made yet.
I have not got all the details yet but we are planning on a Happy Hour or sorts on Friday Afternoon/evening. Your hosts will be the usual suspects - Trains and Toy Soldiers (Frank Way) and LOD Enterprises (Ken Ciak)
with Chicagoland/Hobby Bunker chipping in.
We will have a main ballroom (100ish tables) and the marquis tent (70 tables) full of tables along with a few dozen in the hallways.
I still have not got the table layout fully numbered/sorted by the Marriott - dealer assignments will most likely be done early next week or so.
To keep it simple Most likely dealers in the ballroom last year will be in the ballroom, dealers in the basement will be in the tent (heat and A/C) and the rest in the hallways.
Thanks to a cancellation with another group the Chicagoland "Check in" and Hobby Bunker most likely will be just off the lobby in the Midway/O'Hare rooms.
