Thanks Poppo....I am blushing.....I am lucky...I do not have to worry about being accurate for the rivet counters so I can put my chinese pirates back a few centuries......I have already done the Spanish and the English pirates...so I thought Chinese would be a good change of pace....I like the box dio...a lot less work and it saves space....regards TomBWow!!! What a beautiful dio..In a limited space you can tell a great action story :salute:and the history of the chinese pirates during the 19th century)...Really amazing and unusual diorama; plus, colours, details,waves, smoke....One of the best and pleasant to watch dios I have ever seen ! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}
With your skill of creating figures and more, you really don' t care what manufacturers do for the masses ; you can follow your own taste for history, without being limited by the commercial limits of the toysoldier production!
Really, thank you for posting this!
ps: I love the pirate theme, and you are the only one who can deserve to make it

Thanks...I leave the eyes shaded as in real life....you need to be very close to see a persons eyes..I hate the pop eye effect that spoils so many excellent figures...my opinion only... regards TomBWell, it is accurate enough...My example are the "museum dios" and the "modellers dios"....Details are important, but,even more important is the whole scene, suitable figures and landscape around ;much more than the colours of eyes of a single figure....!
That' s why your dio is very good and the colours so nice, compliments again :salute::
