Hi guys,

Just heard a Chinese whisper about new club figures and toy soldier show figures coming out. The story is that Andy is going to release Pacific figures as Marines and Japs as club figures and a new Australian in New Guinea soldier for his next trip to Australia for the dinner next month.Boy I should of said nothing I am over the moon at the new arrivals coming.Simmo.:)

Simmo,
Unfortunately your post, whilst an attempt at humour, is very misleading especially in relation to figures that Andy may be bringing to Australia next month.
The matter of The Pacific and related figures has been discussed in multiple threads and responded to by Andy. I think he has made it clear he does not intend to go there and probably not helpful to now suggest he will.
For the record Andy will be bringing with him the painted prototypes of his next releases in the Lighthorse / Turks series due for release later in the year.
Regards
Brett

Dear Brett:

Yes, I agree as there are likely other members who may take apparently intended fake data given as a "joke" seriously as happened to me 2 or 3 months ago to some extent at least relative to a person saying K&C is giving up on all or nearly all new WW2 era sets! I didn't think that that could really be true, but it had me wondering for a short time.

I have to say something here.

Whilst an attempt at humour ,is very misleading. Why is this misleading Brett .Dreams and visions do come true. My title is Chinese Whispers . Sure I have not herd from Andy himself but with all of the talk of the pacific lately it is not a unlikely thing for K&C to consider what I have mention.

Why I can remember when the Russian front was a thing that was a big no show but hay now we see a Tiger in Kursk. I said alot about Russian armour and had the same no show comments from alot of people. The man is not a fool he listens watches and acts in his own time.

I can not see any reason what I have said may not come true in the future. A winter Tiger is coming but what do I no.

You may also see Russian armour with in this year . But that is another Chinese Whisper.

Simmo.

Simmo,
My main issue was in relation to figures that Andy may be bringing to Australia next month as your post was untrue in that regard. I did not want people turning up and saying where is such and such.
I think Andy has explained multiple times about The Pacific and Russians and one has to wonder how many times he needs to explain his position.
The Tiger is where ever the collector wants it to be (see images on K&C web page).
Regards
Brett

Brett do you get tired of being so right. You have your opinion and I will have mine and I will speck mine when ever I like .You still think you are in the police force and like to police what untrues are said in jest or within a joke on the forum .Regards Simmo.

Gee I was a bit harsh here I think. The Military Workshop is my favorite shop in Brisbane and I just gave him a spray. My fault I think. Simmo.

Having just read this I think the question is when can you tell a statement is made in jest, which I believe was Brett's concern. That is where those smilies come in handy since statements made with a straight face so to speak are taken at face value.

Hey guys,
Just completed the trap door and secret dungeon renovations in the shop. If you don't here from Simmo for a while that could be somehow connected !
Regards
Brett
PS Any food parcels, Russian vehicles and figures can be sent care of my shop.

Gee im kinda glad im not coming over a bit a friction in the air..........
I know what the prob is its nearly ORIGIN time, come on boys group hug you know Simmo you cant live with out your dealer he has what you need.............:D

Oops,
I just realised my above post could be musunderstood. I was joking about the food parcels. As everybody should know Australian Customs are very strict about food coming into the country ! So cancel all food parcels if you are from overseas and just send Russians.
Regards
Brett

The title of the thread is quite clear
Chinese Whishpers.
So Chinese refers to figures made in China and Wish well that is exactly that a wish.
You know when you wish upon a star you get Eastern Front and Pacific figures.

Wayne,
Good news. I was in my local Chinese takeway and the Manager knowing I am interested in military stuff has shown me a rare photo album from an Aussie Digger who was at Kokoda.
You can imagine my amazement when I saw the photos showed a group photo of apparently Germans in AK uniform next to a bunch of Japanese. The diary of the Digger mentions coming across a patrol of white men who were speaking German. He had served in N Africa so should know what he was talking about. He mentions rumours that the AK guys had been sent to New Guinea to help train and fight with the Japanese. There is even a photo of the Digger in the jungle posing with a MG42.
Obviously I gave the Manager $5 for the photos and diary amd will be discussing this exciting news with Andy of K&C when he gets here and hope that it could result in a new series of Afrika Korps in the Pacific.
Amazing coincidence but I think it is the same Chinese takeaway that Simmo goes to !!!!!!!!
Regards
Brett
PS Apparently there is another photo album which has pictures of AK vehicles in the jungle.:D:D:D:D

Oops. Wayne for the moment can you keep this information to yourself. We don't want the market to suddenly be flooded with this subject.
Regards
Brett
