This Christmas, I received a Conte WW2 Play Set, Busting the Bocage.
It is a good looking set, as I see it on the living room rug.

What Toy Soldier stuff did you receive or
you wanted but did not receive ?

I got myself the new Germans from TSSD. I got my son a BMC Tiger from them too plus two original Airfix Hanomags I picked up on ebay. We are both quite happy!

Ex force Medieval sets. GREAT variety, lots of extra parts.In particular, Greathelms. I carved down a few figs that have a face and wear a skull cap I am not too fond of. Made a post out of their heads and added Pig faced helmets, Great helms etc..
Very nice sets. 60mm in size. Your 54mm Marx, Deetails ect , won't match.

Also , found an ebay treasure. Been searching for one in a clean box and complete. 1970 , 10 years old again.

I got the CTS Hougomont building set and a few Hat elites in greatcoats. I can't wait to paint them up and get a good Napoleonic battle set up! Along with some other Hat Wurtemburg Jager converted to French line, with the help of ATKM metal heads, I have been working on. And finish up some more of your Blackcat Russians, Harold!
Sheesh, I have a long laundry list of figures to finish, come to think of it...

I was THIS close to acquiring a bunch of Conte buildings on ebay but paused to deliberate with my roommates and in that pause, someone else bought them. I suspect my girlfriend may have for my birthday coming up but she vehemently denies...I'll keep you all updated

I wanted this Castle soooooo bad when I was a kid. I got the Marx "Carry-All" instead. Had plenty of fun with the Marx, but still longed for the realism of this one.
