Church Ruin - Seen it before (1 Viewer)

That would be great Brett, that other building is also very nice:cool:

The new church is a modified version of the Chicago church. The production church has more extensive damage to the upper area where the rose window should be. The Chicago version has the rose window whereas the production version does not. The more extensive damage makes reproducing the window unneccesary, thus making production cheaper and affordable. That's JMO though. -- Al

I am already thinking of adding some less detailed side extensions ( about 4" - 5" ) and interior detail to give it some depth. Years ago, I had Nick from Battlescenes ( before he got rich and famous ) make me 3 such buildings. With sandbagged doors and windows ,they make for a nice partial street...Hope to get a village worth made for 54mm gaming...Michael

Hi guys,
The Church ruin appeared in Chicago and looking at the dio it was in might give us a clue as to what else might follow

Another great piece with multiple uses.

Thanks heaps for posting the link.....fantastic buildings....also love the walls and damaged bridge!!

Maybe K&C will produce a bridge at some stage too??;)

Look forward to maybe a damaged Farm house or Barn. Cheers!:D

I think the popularity of the Desert buildings, D Day Bunkers and Nissen Huts is encouraging K&C to do more buildings and facades, this is good news as these structures are really good and add depth and realism to dios. Can't wait for this Normandy ruin.

Rob, don't forget the Fall of Berlin ruins. As a relatively new collector, I'm very aware of their popularity!

I do like this and I think with a couple of homemade wall sections you could use 2 church facades (one at each end) and have a nice bombed church.

That said it would be nice to also see some intact buildings also.

Intact buildings would be most welcome.
