I just showed this thread to my son and he was impressed: he said the figures looked real
Your son has exquisite taste brad and is obviously an extremely bright boy.
Rod, the dio looks great. Looking forward to seeing the factory interior. And no, please don't post any images of that until after the show!!!! It should be the highlight of the display in George's room, though it will be a shame to have the white factory building facing away from the front of the display table to highlight the interior.

I will probably use one of the beds for this display so customers can see both sides of both buildings in order to maximize the effect...........

Rod,
Depends on how you are sending these; it would be great for these to arrive prior to or on Tuesday the 22nd so I can unpack them in the rooms and work them into the display. The problem is if they get there later in the week, I'll have to rearrange everything to work them into a display, much easier to do the former rather than the latter............

Sleep? Who needs sleep, I'm out there to sell, sell, sell, drink, sell, sell, etc, etc.......
Actually, the first year I took my Dad out there to help me, we set up both rooms on Wednesday and opened for business that night; I got ready to shut down the rooms about 11:00pm and after I locked the door on one of the rooms, I walked into the other room and there's papa bear lying on the floor and I said "What are you doing Dad?" to which he said "Going to sleep, what does it look like I'm doing" and at that point I told him we break down two of the bed displays to sleep on them.
Although this year, maybe not........

Good that your team did not well in soccer. This gives you a chance to finish this and all the other dioramas.
LOL...you are wrong, because each time Brasil played I was off of work....last night I took some new fotos of the complete dio and I use a car from K&C that I converted in a different tourette
