You don't have any of Guard Corps' Civil War figures? Alan Silk and Ed Lober have both passed away, sadly, and Guard Corps went out of business, but FairTech in Red China still produces some of the catalog. Alan was contracting with FairTech to do the casting and keep Guard Corps going, after Ed passed, and they still have the molds. Their website is at http://www.fairtechhk.com/index.htm They also sell through an eBay store, as seller faircloverland.

Guard Corps produced both Union and Confederate cavalry, and infantry, if I recall correctly. The Union cavalry figures formed the basis for a separate catalog of Seventh Cavalry figures, too.

I have a single figure from their Civil War catalog, of a Union officer saying good-bye to his sweetheart. Otherwise, I collect their Kaiser-Alexander-Grenadier series.

Prost!
Brad

As an illustration of Guard Corps Civil War figures, here's a current eBay auction from faircloverland:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Civil-War-Figurine-/371348368301?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276

I am not connected with them in any way, by the way. I just have them noted as a current source for Guard Corps' figures.

Prost!
Brad

As this is in the collections forum, I'd like to see some photos. I'm not really sure if this is a classified post or a look at my nice stuff post.
Share some photos with us, I love seeing other peoples collections!

It's Red China, what do you expect?

To be fair, we should ask whether Gunn contracts with FairTech to do his casting or not. it may be that the eBay seller got the finished sets and is selling them. He has one set misidentified, for example, a set of Brunswick infantry labeled as Prussians. I would expect that if they cast the set, they'd be more likely to use the correct ID (unless Gunn calls them Prussians, too).

Prost!

I've asked the question before but Randy doesn't have a list. King Toot has listed some of his Flag bearers on eBay.

Should this thread be in the commerce section? I don't understand this thread - are you selling or just showing us what you have?
