A friend of mine in Southern California, is a superb model building whose work rises to the level of museum quality. Gary Fournier, who some of you may know, is in the process of making a Civil War Union Gun Boat; he is almost finished, but has to yet add the guns and life boats. He sent me several photos of this work in progress which I thought you might like to see. By the way, several years ago, I posted photos under the Trophy Forum of his Nile River Gun Boat and Dock diorama which includes Trophy of Wales figures which is worth checking out if you didn't see it before.

I saw Gary this Saturday. Unfortunately, the collector who commissioned it wanted the boat right away even without the guns and life boats. So it was shipped to him without them. Gary will send them separately. Bummer.

The good news is that I asked him to send me any other photos he has on some of his other projects. When I get them, I'll open a new thread so we can all see them.
