Just saw these "sneak peeks" on the W. Britain facebook page . . . . . very cool ^&cool. A teasing glimpse of what's to come. According to their Facebook article, several raid sets along with the snake rail fence sections will be in the 2015 Spring Catalog . . . . can't be a raid unless there is an isolated frontier cabin or fort as the target :wink2: . . . . . . hoping anyway . . . .
:smile2: Mike

This range is developing quite nicely! That jumping Indian is very unique and a must have. Can't wait to see the new stuff in the next catalog.

I think the leaping figure is directly out of John Ford's "Drums Along the Mohawk".

My exact thought when I first saw it. I will certainly be adding this one to my collection . . . .

By the way . . . . . here is the comment I made concerning these "sneak peeks" and the response I received from Ken Osen . . . . . Sounds like some exciting things are being planned for this range . . . . .

Michael R. Estell: "You know its not much of a "raid" unless there is an isolated cabin or small fort/station to be taken . . . . . just hopefully saying . . . ."

W. Britain Toy Soldier Company: "The raid will be several sets, including scenics. Ericka and I have visited several great sites with reconstructed frontier farms and villages, so it is only a matter of narrowing it down!"

These 2 figures look fantastic! These fellas will definitely find there way to my collection.

Thank you for the kind comments! My creative staff and I are hard at work with additional "raid" sets including scenic accessories. I thought these additions would make perfect companions to sets we will be making based on some of Don Troiani's Art.
As some of you already know W. Britain is now the distributor for Historical Art Prints, including the exclusive rights to develop individual figures and sets based directly on the works of Don Troiani.
Please visit the W.Britain web site to see all of the limited edition prints currently available.
Look for more sneak peeks after the holidays!

Mike...

love the Indians...especially the one vaulting the fence...

we have to get him in the 2016 Olympics in the beam competition...he's a natural...

is there a peg on his hand...did you glue him on...how is he balanced?

This figure was designed with a pin in the palm of his hand. The snake rail fence comes with the figure and will work with our other snake rail fence set.

very creative Ken...

you're a trend setter for sure...

nice Indians too!!!

Ken...

after searching WB's website under AWI for this figure...and not finding it...

I re-read Mike's first post...

it's a sneak peek...hehehe...sorry...gotcha now...not released yet...

my next question to Mike was gonna be did he re-paint his corn stalks...

but I'm guessing that's a "one off"...or another sneak peek of something new to come...

by the way...

the new website layout is much more attractive and easier to navigate than the old one...

Thanks for the kind comments...the corn is a new version with new bases and is also part of the "sneak peek". There are plenty of new accessories finished that I know will be welcomed to diorama builders. Many will appear very soon.
All the best,
Ken
