Had a bottle of paint explode on me last night. UNfortunately it was black. Most of it got on me which is good, but a few small drops hit the wall and on the carpet. Thank God it was acrylic. Anyway, what can I use to get it to come out and off the wall. Help me please!!!!!

Acrylic cleans up pretty easy with water...especially if you get it fast...

if the wall is pourous...like sheetrock...you may end up painting that wall...

I have spilled acrylic paint between ceramic tiles onto the grout and gotten it off before with a brush and water...

what's the wall made of?

I really think a good shampooing might save you...

I would go to Walmart and rent one or set up an appointment with a company as soon as possible...

you may have to saturate the area and do it several times...but unless your carpet is a really light color...I think you can pull this off...

or pull it out I should say...

I squeezed it too hard! It was a Vallejo and I thought that some paint had dried in the Tube, it was a full almost new bottle. Anyway, I guess it had a hole in the droplet peices somewhere and the more I sqeezed the more pressure built up inside and boom, the whole droplet shot out with the rest of the paint. In 12 years of painting, that has never happened to me.

Well....

we all learn from our mistakes...

when mixing colors on a palate...I always have trouble squeezing out too much of the second color...

I waste so much paint...:(

good luck on the clean up.
