Cleaning (1 Viewer)

Ooooooooh.....that would explain the difficulties I was experiencing.

Anyone know how to remove a Sherman turret from a vacuum cleaner hose? It's a 76mm, rather than a 75mm if that helps?

:D:D:D
You guys are something else.
I love it :D

I just must live in a clean and dust free environment, that being said, do all you folks really sit around and clean all your figures regularly. I have had mine displayed under glass as well as on tables for up to 20yrs and i really do not see the build up. Do you also clean your vehicles?

The dust build-up I deal with is pretty bad. I rotate cleaning so that everything is cleaned at least once a month when the place is closed up during hottest and coldest months. In spring & fall, when the windows and doors are open a lot, the dust build-up is a lot heavier so the figures will get dusted twice a month. I clean my vehicles with my figures. -- lancer

Hi Hawkeye,

Almost all of my figures that are one display are under glass and they are rarely disturbed from their position. Therefore, the accurate thing for me to say is that I clean them irregularly. I also dust them any time I handle them.

Even though my figures are in closed curio cabinets, the glass shelves will show dust after a while. When this becomes clearly evident, then I remove the figures and dust and/or clean the shelves. Actually, I find it fun to do as I then get to handle each figure and examine it close at hand. However, if I had to do it too frequently, I might begin to view it as a chore.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
