Thank you Mike, but i already decide it that i will join this "sekta" haha,so i will get my free figure, they convince me that even if i join now i will still get all the stuff other people get(standard,catalogue,...) so i am in!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently joined the WBritains Collector Club, on the last page of the May 2009 issue of the Standard it shows the exclusive Modelzone Figure of Melvill saving the colours has anyone gotten this figure yet and does anyone know if it is sold out or if it has been released. I have not seen any posting of this figure on the forums or did I miss the posting.

Thanks,
Brian

Hi There,

This isnt going to be helpful but I would contact The Model Zone directly they list a webaddress I believe. I dont know if it sold out but I wouldnt wait too long since they sell these Limited Editions out fairly quickly

Hi Brian

The Melville figure hasn't been released yet. No word on when it will be either. I think it was actually supposed to be Last July. There is also the Isandlwana figure that is due for release but when that will be who knows.

Thanks Scott,

I was thinking I missed the boat on this one. It looks like a great figure.

No problem Brian

Personally I hope they hold off for a bit as all the new stuff coming in the new year will kill me LOL also the Melville figure has a hefty price tag :(

What about the AZW special club figure 50012, the 24th Charging has this one been released yet.

Hi Guys:

Melvill is out now and Modelzone is shipping it. The club figure will be here in late December/early January.

Richard

Modelzone has not updated their website yet, it is only accepting inquiries on the Mellvill figure.

well i am still thinking,i think it is a little over price,it is a nice figure but i think they put too big price. If they already put such a big price than they should go extra limited like 100 pieces than i will pay such a price but 300 pieces i think they need to low the price-i am not sure they will sale all of them for that price.
Tell me why is not posible to buy this figure in Wbritain website?
Who is this modelzone and why they sale figures from WBritain and the Wbritain does not sale this figure at their shop?
I like to buy figures straight from the manufacturer, all other options make me think of a scam:D:D

Ales Modelzone is a company with stores all over the United Kingdom. The commissioned Britains to make the figure for them. No scam lots of stores do it.

I ordered one, I am not sure it will sell out due to the price, but if Britains is going to do Isandlwana, you need to have a "Saving the Colours" figure.

I do want to get this figure but the cost puts me off. Last item I order from Model zone (the mealie bag set) I paid about $50 for shipping then another $30 duty.

I hope Britains will make a Melville figure for their line. No everyone is able to buy from Model zone and if that is the only Melville that becomes available it would be a shame.

WB call it connoisseur which when I think of that at that price, I would expect something more along the lines of the First Legion figures.

I too am put off by the price, but there is not much choice if you want the figure to complete a collection. You can hope to get one later at a lower price, but with a true limited run, chances are the figures are with collectors and they intend to keep the figure.

yes i totaly agree and we can just hope that WB will give us Melville saving the colours from their own Zulu series.
Well today i get my collectors welcome pack,i also get my membership number, catalogue, standard magazine,...and a free figure!!!!!!!!!!
My first figure from a Zulu series-wooooooooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!!
Now i am waiting for another one, this limited 24 soldier running,i am sure it will come in december!!!!-juppy!!!!!!!!!
But i have one question,i was thinking this british soldier have more red uniform, like very bright, but my soldier have more kind of bordo uniform,it is kind of dark red,not so shiny red.Is it yours figure like that too?
Or they didnt mix a nice red colour :D:D:D:D,because when i watch a ZULU movie the British wear much more shiny bright red uniform than mine dark red(bordo) colour.
Should i be worry about the wrong colour?
