Hi all! Over the past few weeks I have debated expanding my collection. I really love King & Country products, but I have typically only collected the WS series. Due to financial constraints I can make one major purchase this month. I am stuck between BBA015 "General Inspection" or WS177 "Winter Tiger". Although I am a bit of a completionist, I have to admit some of the American and British sets are really wonderful. It has made me wonder which K&C sets are the most visually appealing and should I begn collecting all different pieces?

My choice would be the winter tiger. But you can't go wrong with the general inspection. As far as what line is the best to collect I say whatever you like the most is the best. Your collection should make you happy not what makes others happy.

I try to purchase as much of a certain set as I can so I can have a complete collection.

Unless you have an unlimited budget, I would try to avoid retired pieces, particularly if you haven't been collecting that long. I noticed you were asking about a WS 23. Pieces like that can be very costly.

If you know where I can find BBA 015 at a reasonable price, let me know
guy:)

Buy one this month and the next month pick up the other. Only you can decide which appeals to you the most to buy first. Don't be panicked by discontinued or old models they are all available somewhere and, often at a better price than you can be lead to believe.

[QUOiTE=bzr116;464216]Small world! I am assuming you must pick up a lot of pieces at Dutkins too.[/QUOTE]

I'm there almost everyday lol

I would just offer the following to you based upon what you have told us. Find your own favorite era to collect, pick say your top 3 favorite releases and work from there. You will be surprised on how quickly your collection will grow from month to month. :smile2:

Means you want it ALL!!!!!!!!...Well dönt we ALL!!!!!!!!!.

Steve

That's what I was thinking, but couldn't believe my eyes. That would mean he wants to collect WS1-infinity. One of those early WS sets (4 standing officers) went for $1600 five years ago.

Better to buy what you like than a particular range. To refuse a piece that you like because it has the wrong range prefix is just ridiculous.
