Collectors Club figure? "Bruno" Bigeard (1 Viewer)

Recall that there was mention of this as a potential CC figure (not confirmed by Andy though) in a thread recently... and enthusiastically embraced by me.

Anyway, for those who may not be aware 'Bruno' died last week aged 94. Here is a link to his obit in the NY Times to give you an idea of who he was...

Would love to see him as a CC figure and maybe other notable Airborne/Special Forces/Commando/Unconventional Warfare commanders. We've already got David Stirling and Paddy Mayne from the SAS, plus Otto Skorzeny and not to forget Lawrence of Arabia. Maybe this could be an occasional release Collectors Club theme?

A true hero has passed. I became aware of Bigeard when I read Hell in a Very Small Place 40+ years ago. Found him to be the most interesting persona in the book and I then went on to read about him in Algeria. A great French military hero. -- Al
