In the last issue of the Standard there was a small article about the release date on the Collectors Club figures. It said mid-May to late-May. Is this accurate? Has the date been pushed back?

I think that is still accurate CH. I'd guess they will come with the catalog due later this week or next week hopefully.

It was the 93rd Highlander bagpiper. My Crimean troops finally have some music to go to battle!

My ACW figure and the Standard arrived together in one box yesterday (6/3).
I haven't had too much time to look at them -- spent most of last night in the basement following the tornado warnings all around us. The officer is a very nice figure. The upcoming ACW cavalry look wonderful too, as do the new Black Watch.

By the way, I can't wait to get more info on the AWI personalities shown on the back of the suppliment. I'm guessing Washington, Rochambeau, La Fayette (?) and Commander-in-Chief's guard. My 11-year old daughter is a big AWI buff and is thrilled with these.

Got my Standard and Civil War Officer in matte today at work. It is so much better to get stuff delivered at your workplace (if possible). No interceptions or queries from better halves, or kiddies opening mystery boxes.

My stumper for the day is "What am I going to do with an ACW Officer in matte?!" Mike
