Would you post a side by side photo comparing K&C with CS? I think the CS looks more greyish and K&C is matt black. Also CS seems less chunkie and slightly shorter in the photo, am i correct?

oberstokar...

They are more grey as CS has added lighter shades in the folds of the uniform to give highlights to the detail whereas K&C do not so, that will give the tonal difference. I have a nice display of these marchers and they are brilliant and excellently produced. I don't however think they go well with K&C IMO and do not mix them as they have a more realistic feel and leaner sculpting than the K&C ones they are also bigger slightly than K&C. Don't get me wrong I really like the K&C ones and they are the bread and butter of my collection of the Leibstandarte. I posted in a CS thread quite a few different side by sides a while ago should you wish to see some with the flags, officers and troops

The only downside to CS berlin figures are the limits in production which, do not allow one to build a really large display 100plus would be nice to have.

The first thing to me that jumps out as different between the 2 are the skin tones. K&C lighter/CS darker. As far as mixing the 2 brands in a dio for me you don't really notice any size difference until you get up close to the display less than a foot away. I agree with Mitch on the CS marchers. The more of them that you have the better they look. !

thanks for the side by side pics! It really helps me to decide to buy the cs or not...
you are more than welcome and i agree with mitch--you will not be sorry to buy these lah figures they will look great with other companies lah's.

I think they will be fine together. If there are sufficient numbers and mixed appropriately It will look great. Life is not symmetrical. Though I have seen some of those old pictures of the rallies in Nuremberg and they seemed to line up with men close in heights....................... Oh never mind. If you like the CS because they look more menacing you would not be disappointed.{sm3}

Currently I have 12 of the LAH Marchers with one Officer with standard and one with sword. I'm getting ready to pick up 4 more marchers to add to the parade.These just stand out as the more of them you have grouped together the more appealing they truly become !

I have always liked the facial look of CS from the first time I saw the LAH figures quite a few years ago. I know people have called them ghoulish et al but, I look at them in terms of realism. The paint work is darker and more shaded but, the facial poses are really very good when one looks at them and, I think its as much a signature of Brians work as the thrown track. I like seeing the muscle and vains in the figures when they are fighting or shouting and thats what you seem to get with the CS figures. The Berlin series of the LAH greatly benefit from the lifelike or, as KV put it the menacing look which, is another great decripto as early war pictures show the 1st Kompanie LAH as just that

Question: Except for the Newly released Roman line which I understand is 54mm; are most CS figures 60mm in height???..Does the CS website explain......or.....Could someone post a side by side of a CS Roman and a WWII figure...Thank you in advance....I must say CS is doing a very good job on their sculpts and painting.
