Colonel Kirby (1 Viewer)

Haven't bought many of the series, but this is what I think of these newer ones.
More in scale height wise with K&C, just Colonel Kirby / John Wayne figure from the Green Berets and King from Platoon.
However whilst I knew Kirby's M16 would be larger, the butt of King's M60 is a little on the small side and more like one for an MG 42 than M60.
Butt packs on the webbing equipment are overly large as are the canteens and also his helmet and finally king is missing a thigh pocket on his trousers, obviously never modelled.

I am repainting this figure to fit in with the K&C Vietnam figures I already have and will be a useful group figure.

Only got the wounded NVA soldier from the rest and though larger than K&C, still useable.
The LRRP figures look fine, though I only like the poses of a couple. I'll wait and see if there are any more poses of them before I buy.

. Col. Kirby would make a terrific 1:6 figurine and incorporate Steve's recommendation about the M-16. I know numerous Special Forces Friends who would buy this immediately. Larry.
