Guys-
Here are a couple of pics of some minor repainting work I have done on some of K & C's revolutionary war militia figures. I love these releases and wouldn't mind seeing some more. However, I wanted them to have a slightly more drab look, so I repainted the leggings on three of them. I found that the Testors Model Master color 'Panzer Interior Buff' is almost an exact match to the original color of AR 057s leggings.

Here is a back view.

Not perfect, but I like them. I did repaint the haversack strap and powder horn sling as well. Let me know what you think, as these are my first pics to be posted.

Very nice job..I too, am not above changing the appearance of a KC figure or vehicle......Michael

I really like your work, I have the 6 militia figures that were released myself and I agree it would be nice to see some more reinforcements!

Wow, nicely done! You fooled my eye, I would have said they came from the factory like that.

Again, bravo! I'm a firm believer in painting your own, especially if you can't find exactly what you're looking for among the commercially-painted figures.

Keep 'em coming, prosit!

Excellent re-paint! I love the orginal figures, but never understood the stiped pants. I thought this was totally unneccessary and only made the painting process harder. Re-painting figures allows collectors to have more variety when displaying multiples of the same figure.

More Colonial Militia figures would be nice.

Thanks for the comments guys. Like I said, a rather minor repaint, but enough for what I wanted to do. K & C's militia figures are great and I would like to see more AWI Continentals in the rifle shirts in the future.

Now I can't decide if I would want to try change the coat facings on the upcoming Rhode Island infantry from white to red....
