since I have fixed...repainted...or replaced...everything I can think of at my house...
I thought a fun project would be to buy a casting off Ebay and paint it...
I purchased this for $6.50...it is 54mm...
done in acrylic and sprayed with a clear matte coat...
here it is finished...

I don't think any toy soldier manufacturer has anything to worry about...^&grin
I'm definitely not a threat...

I'm not a very good painter...
but still it was a fun project...

painting this figure gives me a whole new sense of appreciation at the quality of work these manufacturers offer us...
