Lots of love for CS. My shelves will be overtaken with CS anytime soon. However... unlike some manufacturers... what is the situation on the lifespan of certain lines? What I mean is if you started with a line like the Zulu Wars and there are only a handful of Zulus and British available, is this line going to grow? Or are we going to see less and less as other lines expand? Or new ones start up? I personally love the Zulu stuff as I do all the CS figures - although I don't collect any WWII - so if I invest in the series will it be seeing more releases? Not sure what volumes or production schedules CS is working on - right now it is all about the quality just getting better, and better, and better. I'd hate to see the Zulu line dwindle down to nothing or see the ACW cavalry only allow me a few mounted figures - even K&C put out what almost ten cavalry figures in their latest ACW releases. The Polish Lancers set the standard for a release as it gives me almost a full diorama in one shot. Just want to know what the plans are for toy soldier domination... Brian? Cheers.

Even though I haven't bought any CS I'm a fan of them and the only reason I haven't is they haven't put out any range that I'm interested in yet.I bought this up a couple of months ago that they put out 8-12 figures of a particular unit and then go to another unit.Brian got a little mad about it but I thought it was a legitimate question. Now I don't expect hundreds of figures for one unit but I think their needs to be more than is being currently made for each unit. But anyhow the figures are great.I would love a FIW,Custer or even a NWF range.

Such a great topic really.

In regards to ACW I really wanted to see our Tigers and cavalry " zero " out in the warehouse, before launching another production cycle: which they have! So its with great pleasure that I convey the enormity of sets now at the factory and being sculpted. The new Garrards Tigers due out in six weeks are simply the beginning of a host of brand new ACW: cavalry, infantry and artillery due out in the next four months.

We also realize very much that each genre must be maintained and grown. So Zulu has Carbineers added and another host of sets are now being sculpted. So really the radar is up in regards to ensuring collections are able to grow.

Kind regards,

Brian

Just what I wanted to hear. "Unleash the Visa!". Thanks for actually being part of tis forum as well instead of just reading it, or trying to stay anonymous. You get my vote just for that. Zulu I look forward to, as well as the ACW - more cavalry yes please, dismounted action as well. Rush's Lancers as a long shot. Also keep up with the Napoleonics if time and energy allows - Scots Greys would do nicely. Also - regardless of who is doing it now - please take a shot at the French and Indian War - especially Highlanders. Love to see Ticonderoga or Bushy Run - can't imagine what you guys could do with Hurons, Mohawks or iriquois! (BTW what would it cost to finance my own set?) Thanks again for taking part and for letting us know first hand where you are at. Keep up the great work. Cheers, ssorc1

more union figures of cavalry, is my favorite line, I have released the three figures and one in preorder (major royal):D

After thinking about it I would prefer Ft.William Henry. My # 1 is Battle on Snowshoes (yes I know it's been done) in smaller 1/32.

If Brian and CS took on anything FIW I would be eternally grateful. Just give me a full line of British, French, Indians, Highlanders and Rangers and I'll make my own battle dioramas. I can't imagine how good a series on that conflict would look in the hands of CS. The action, the accuracy, the proportions, the detail... would be amazing. No dollying, or repeating poses to fill lines like some manufacturers do... but more like the recent CS ACW sets, 12 action poses, all different and all diorama quality. I look forward to anything these guys will do (except WWII... sorry but too many people cover that... although even to me these guys do it best, with maybe Figarti a close second). But give CS any period of history and with the quality they are putting out after such a short time in business, they will take over. Can't complain about the price either. Plus when I pay for three figures with CS they are all different poses, not repeated. Thats a bonus. So I'm with you Mark. FIW please... with honey and sugar on it? Cheers.

I too enjoy the fact that all of CS's figure poses are unique and exclusive to their given sets, and not just simple repaints or otherwise modified versions of previously existing figures. That scores points indeed. :)

Me too!! 100%!! - I love this CS AZW Brit.Gun team, hold their ground in one of my AZW Displays shoulder on shoulder with Britains and Conte from the 24." Good add-ons to existing lines of other manufactures at this time, and - as the ranges will grow and grow - stand-alone products of special CS-Displays, I think.
