Take a look to see if Wing Nutz might be doing one.:rolleyes2: I mean, if they can do a Gotha in 1/32 scale, what's the big deal over an observation balloon?{sm3} -- Al

You are wise indeed - but my Head of Construction has set a Christmas deadline for the Gotha because has had his head turned by, of all things, some plastic ACW figures for a diorama. His performance review this year is going to be pretty critical. He reads this thread so I will add that he does not trust Ebay with his credit card details so he got me to order them!

I just noticed some Metal Shed items have been posted in the 2013 MFCA thread in the Shows and Show Reports section. Go to post #4 by Boerboy. Some great stuff. -- Al

Thanks - I just had a look and they were fantastic. I just spoke to the CEO of the House (she who has both a PhD and a Master in Fine Arts - grabbed her before she realised her true market value!) who has indicated the ease with which she could construct a basic German observation balloon on her next holiday. Times are good!

A PhD and a Masters, AND she can construct an observation balloon. Sounds like you are a very lucky man. Don't let go. :wink2: -- Al

I hang on like grim death. Her market value has risen while mine has declined with the passage of the years.

Very much the same situation with me and my wife.:wink2:^&grin -- Al

An onservatyion balloon might not be feasable, but how about some anti-aircraft guns - our British and German airfields need defences!
