Hello All,
My apologies to anyone that has been disappointed with our total lack of service for the past few months. We will endeavor to be back up and running at the end of the year.
We had developed several new items and had a fair number of new shelf scenics started for the Chicago show, but everything has screeched to a stop.
We had an huge responsibility thrust upon us When Richard Walker resigned as General Manager of William Britain a few months ago. I have been them chief sculptor for this company from the beginning of First Gear ownership and was the obvious successor for continuity. The simple problem was moving hundreds of miles without notice and having to pick and choose what was coming with us in the short term. This did not include much beyond clothing and basic furnishings.
We did not plan on all of the other special events that were planed for W. Britain that go beyond the administrative work in the office either, and it has been a very full schedule. I suppose the good news here is that W. Britain is in good shape and I have ironed out some bugs and designed plenty of new products for the rest of the year.
We guessed that Ericka could commute much more than she has been able to, and Hudson & Allen has suffered in the short term. We both apologize fro the lack of communication and that has been brought to our attention by your postings here, so thank you.
We also are in the midst of another professional museum model commitment that will be fulfilled in November, So work during the day, eat and then work most of the evening. Again, I know that does not excuse our lack of communication and we will strive to do better here.
Hopefully this will be an acceptable explanation to those who have tried to contact us lately, and be assured that we will be back up and running at the end of the year.
All the best,
Kenneth Osen
