Thank You Lt. I have been trying to send them without any luck. I know your busy with your Rorke Drift Battle, and I owe you one. To my fellow Treefroggers, Joe spent a good hour or more trying to explain the picture down loading process. I'm am a self professed computer idiot. I will learn this, because I love this stuff. When I get a chance Joe, I'll make you some miele bag walls or ammo crates. Thanks alot Mike.

Lt.
Thanks for posting the pics.

Mike,
You've got some great conversions there. At the risk of causing computer frustration, have you got any close ups?

This thread has definately kicked me up the backside and I'm going to renew my attack on Conte's plastic. I have the number of the Accident and Emergency Dept. on standby.

Simon

Hey Simon, the photos I took are a lot more close up. The Lt. today helped me get these down loaded. When I look at them on my slide show, they appear much larger. At know fault of the Lt., they do seem smaller. I'm just happy for now, some of my pics have made it on. Hopefully with time and practice, I will get better. I hope this thread will not get to confusing of who is who ,and who did what. Thanks again Lt. Hobby On Mike.

Wow! Looks like you,ve been busy chopping also, great work. I,m not really that familiar with the WWII figures that are out there so i can,t really tell how munch you have changed on the figures. I,m more familiar with my napoleonics and know what the base factory figures look like on those. I really like your buildings also. I like to try and mess around with making stuff like that also but I haven,t done that munch but what I did do is posted on this forum somewhere.

I,m glad you joined the forum your stuff looks great and hope to see more of it and like wraith said, some close ups would be nice.

I think we should do some step by step posts on converting and show what tools and products we like to use and show the base figures used to show what and how its done from start to finish. I think seeing the base figure/figures is important to understand what was done and to better appreciate the work. I think this would spark some interest into this side of the hobby and get some new blood in the hobby, and I do mean BLOOD:p watch your fingers and always cut away from yourself and digets and body parts for anyone wanting to try this.

You should sign up for a free photo bucket account and you,ll be able to post pictures at a munch larger size then this forum allows with its size limitations and best of all its free! Thats how I,ve been post my pictures now and you don,t lose the picture quality by down sizing your photos.

Hey Lt., much better. you figured how to enlarge for better viewing. I know your doing all the work now, theres a Farmhouse with your name on it. You can show me how to set up better also. I just put some green felt on some tables, and snapped away. Thanks Lt. Mike.

Here's a few more photos of Mikes work but posted smaller...The Lt.

I have to wait for the putty to dry over night and do a bit of fine tunning on them still but there just about done and you can pretty munch see what you,ll get.

Tim, good coverts. I am still in the infent stage of butchery. As I get better with pictures, I will post some more. With the many talented converters, we will keep Conte's alive and well for many years. Great stuff Mike.

Your conversions are great looking! The Conte figures are very detailed so they will look really good painted.....I have to pick up some of thoses figures and try my hand at it. I'll also have to get that adhesive. I'm going to a big toy soldier show this Sunday, March 11th and maybe I can pick up some supplies...............Great job! Nick:)
