I say to all conte fans to be patient, would we rather have bad sculpts and paint jobs or this done right!

I can't speak for the Viking ship but the GI stuff shown on your link is available, except for maybe the full playset for Omaha Beach. All the elements for both Omaha playsets have been out, but I don't know if Mr. Conte ever got his boxes printed. Most of the GI items shown in your link are painted pewter. Some of them complement the plastic GIs and others repeat the same poses. I haven't heard about the availability of painted GIs (I paint my own, so I wouldn't get them anyway).

I worse comes to worse there are those of us on the Forum who can paint the plastic GIs for you - for a fee.

I was able to purchase the Viking ship at the $249 special a few weeks ago from the Conte site. It does not show the price as $249 until you add it to your cart and voila! I paid the $249 + $40 shipping and am very happy with it. Although I don't intend to collect any other Viking items it seemed fitting as a descendent of the Norsemen to snap up the ship at such a great price.

Like Damian's eloquence the above is also very apt when describing us poor bloody Conte collectors.

Who knows what RC will offer next, but no doubt it will be welcomed in both plastic or metal.
