Does anyone have a list/pictures of the different Normandy diorama pieces Conte made? Aside from the cathedral and accompanying priory, I recall having seen some street pieces, a barn, and a gate with an outbuilding, but I can't find pictures let alone pieces for sale. Any information on what these sets were and how to get them?
Thanks!
Sandor

I copied these pictures from an e-bay auction: the 2 story house, the corner house, the farm house and the red corner. I know seven D-Day playsets exist too but I don't have pictures.
Ciao

There is a set that has hedge rows and one that had some pill boxes and one nice size concrete gun emplacement. If you are interested in these, send me a PM with an email and I will send you photos. I am looking to sell these from my collection.

Thanks,

Matthew

Ebay has been a good source
for the Conte WW2 playsets.
During the last year, I have bought
three of them at reasonable prices.

Good Luck

Found some of mine, love these buildings. Robin.

What is the material used in the manufacturing? A foam or resin or something else?

I have WAY too much stuff salted away in the basement and need to get rid of some of some extras. I have two Conte "dragon's teeth" obstacles (one is the "damaged" version) and an extra barn with courtyard base. I would be willing to sell the "dragon's teeth" for $30 each and the barn for $50.00. These [rices do NOT include postage and these might need a pretty fair sized box for shipping. There is also a haystack, but it needs repair as the original center post broke, I can fix that with a piece of dowel. I also have the two-piece bridge and the farm house, but I have diorama plans for both of them.DSC02334.JPGDSC02335.JPG

Fairly sure Ken Olsen was contracted by Richard Conte at the time. Robin.

Yes I did make these. The church was the most fun to do ...and the most difficult to manufacture.

You can see that these work well with my Hudson & Allen buildings and walls.
