Conte slaves and gladiators versus aeroart romans (3 Viewers)

Sorry Mike an Chris missed the vs AEROART Romans in the threads title. Great photos featuring both above. They sure look great together........Joe

Joe thank you so much for the overly kind comments.I made the title a little to long so the Aeroart Roman part is only seen at the very start so it created confusion sorry about that.Chris loves Romans as i do and was away from the forum for a while so i went a little over the top with Russian Romans in RC's area.By the way thank you for posting the new Conte figures they look very nice.I am waiting for the new Romans and will buy them with the ship i missed the first time as soon as they come out.Sorry for any mix up and HAPPY COLLECTING.Mike B.

Lt- no worries my friend, it's all good. To this day, I think Conte's best figures are his Viking and Barbarians- amazing that you can mix them in with the Russians, makes for quite a colorful battle- I do the same thing Mike does though I don't believe my Legion is as large as his.

And on that note, I just won an ebay auction from Marky Mark for the Lion headed Signifier from Conte- thank you Mark!!

Other than the Conte's flying Barbarian I've only 2 other figures figures from his earlier Roman Series and they're both from his Collectors Club. One by the way Mike is the Roman Signifier and can see why your happy to have added him to your collection. Both figures making their appearance are favorites of mine. Looking forward to seeing what you to lads have in store for us next..........Joe

Mike M and LT[Joe] thank you for taking the time to look and comment.it is appreciated.I hope you guys and all the Conte faithful [including you and your family and staff Richard]have a Happy and Healthy Holiday season.Mike B.And yes i will buy all the new Conte Romans and Enemies as they come available.Mike M that figure is awesome.

The way some knock Conte i think they should take a look at his figures with the Russian figures.Mixed together i think they fit together fairly well ,which to me is a complement to Richard and his designs.Mike B.

Mike when it comes to his latest releases in all of his new series the painting of his figures has improved two fold and would say they give aeroart a very close run . As to aeroarts poses Conte's Classic poses blow them away. Not only is the Flying Barbarian one of his classic poses I'd go head to head with aeroart..............The Lt.

Joe hope you had a good Christmas.I think Conte's painting and poses are much much improved and for the dollar a great buy.I do fell they have a way to go to match the Russian painting quality. And if they did it would make the figures to expensive anyway.The new Conte are very very nice figures.Mike B.{sm4}
