These guys should be on the scene shortly.

Those are all excellent figures.

And I must say that photo is gorgeous. Did you make those bushes yourself?
The layout and composition is one of the best yet.

The flowering bushes are by JG miniatures. (I picked them up few weeks ago when I stopped by Treefrog's Store.) The dark green hedgerow is by Hudson and Allen. The Oak trees are by Sweetwater Scenery. The mat and the ret rest of the scenic stuff are mine.

I'm mixing and matching the figures from different sets here in the interactions. I can't wait until the bulk of the Zouaves arrive this summer.

It sure has been fun seeing you at play with you newly arrived Zouaves and can see why you can't wait for the nine sets to arrive next month. In the mean time I do hope you continue playing with the sets you have now which I'm going to bet you will. Thanks for sharing them with us Joe and again can't wait to see what you have for us next.......Papa Zulu

I received Production run samples of the new Zouaves yesterday. I've been waiting a long time for these! You guys will have to wait jut a little while longer. As you can see, they're worth the wait.

Although there a very nice selection of Joe Bakers photos featuring Conte Zouaves in his outstanding dioramas appearing on the forum they are a number of great photos which he hasn't posted appearing on the Conte web site. Check out his BLOG at www.conteco.com/blog.htm and while there enjoy not only his newly posted photos of Conte's new Zouves as well as those of the new Zulu War series but also be sure to continue on as Joe features Conte's sets and figures that's made Conte a master at his trade. You'll find your visit to Joe's Blog a pleasure and well worth the time. Enjoy the visit................The Lt.

Any news about size of the zouaves? Will be little giants like Sons of the South or old Conte ACW toy soldiers?

Wow!! They look very detailed in that photo. I ordered 4 sets to start, and I will likely end up with almost all. I am working toward a charging diorama so will stick with ones that can fit in there.
