Assegai is set near the beginning of WW1 and not n the 1870s, but whenever I read historical fiction, I think of Toy Soldiers, and the Zulu figures are the closest I have.

Once again nice seeing you out to playing Joe and with some of my favorite plastic and metal figures including two I see which I don't have. Hope you don't mind my borrowing your last photo for a special message for help to My Lord General "The Kilted Vampire". Promise to behave myself in the future. Great photo Joe and also a great one to play with.......Lt. Sherlock

"Joe,
Is that a Ballantyne or a Courtney I see in the thick of things?"

It's funny you say that. When I put the Adventurers figures into the set-up, I was casting them in the Courtney/Ballantyne roles in the imagin-a-movie playing in my head.
