Today I received my first thee figures and as I hoped, or actually expected , I am very pleased with their style. Sculpting and painting are superb, but I don't think I have to elaborate on that subject, since it has been done a lot already, and the pictures on the FL website or here on the forum show it very well.
I have a few pictures to add. The first two are closeup views of front and back of the figures. The next three show the figures with JG Miniatures fence sections (custom painted by John Firth), which I will use as a backdrop for the final setup I have planned. There will be 7 or 9 minutemen, as they assemble on a countryroad somewhere around Boston and get ready to confront the British forces.
Now with the first three figures on hand I am really looking forward to create the first diorama of an AWI collection.
Like said on another thread before, I will/can not go for massed arrangements but rather for small groups, shown in dioramas/vignettes, to represent the various troops of the period.

Hi Konrad,
I can see why you got the figure on the right!
Serious quality there and the makings of a great collection, have you seen the British yet?
Looking forward to more photos as your collection expands.
