Corgi 1/50 Forward March Series (2 Viewers)

Almost bought one of the figure sets on eBay recently thinking the seller had made an error as to scale, until I noticed other similar sets on there.

I wish Corgi would pick up the Forward March series 1/32 scale figures again with some WW2 soldiers, and especially some axis/allies airfield ground crew etc. I have a couple of the Heroes pilot figures and am really impressed with the detail and proportions of them. They are actually, by measurement, somewhere between 1/32 and 1/30 so should mix in well and will pass with genuine 1/30 aircraft.

If any 1/50 collectors are interested I have 3 of these sets for sale in mint condition at a knockdown price, original boxes etc. They are the 2 interlocking "D-Day Surrender - Vierville Normandy" diorama sets (US61001 & US61002) and the US Rangers set of 6 figures (US59011). Feel free to PM me if interested. Colman

When I met Ken Osen at last week's Toronto show... he promised some pics of the prototype for the Corgi 1/50 Arnhem diorama which was sadly never mass produced.

Zulucollector, very cool collection you have there.I have the U.S. Airborne, winter GI's,and the U.S. Infantry,as well as the interlocking diorama.Love them all, love the scale, not too big,not too small.Maybe We could talk Ken Osen into starting a 1/50 scale Britains line!!Thanks for sharing your pictures!!!

If collector showcase could do a second smaller scale.... anything is possible.. the nice thing about them were you could buy a set of 6 for the price of a single wbritains matte soldier today... I guess if britains wants to enter the wargaming market that would be a good way to do it...

cheers
Jay
