Cheers Squadron Members:

I have recently purchased some of the Corgi Forward March series (listed as 1:32 scale-but not quite there) figures. I purchased the Battle of Britain Fighter Scramble sets & all of their WW II pilot figures in addition to a couple of their WW II GIs. The GIs are as mentioned are on the small side & ok at best. I love all of the pilot figures although small too-a lot of them have some unique poses & fit in well with my diorams & other K&C, Frontline, Figarti, etc. aircrew & pilots. As always, I was wondering if any other forum members out there are collecting them. By the way, they are all limited & come with L/E numbered cards-i.e. 333/1500. They are a pretty good value especially on eBay. Let me know if any of you want more detailed pictures other than the standard website images. Happy Hunting!

Hi Brad:

I will line up the Corgi Aircrew Squadron for a photo shoot tomorrow. I am waiting for the Douglas Bader figure to land early next week so he will be MIA for tomorrow!

Marc

I purchased the Corgi paratrooper from the Falkland conflict. The detailing and painting is great, however, he seems closer to 1/35 than 1/32.

Have you purchased the Gurkha and WWII Canadian paratrooper? I am interested in these figures, however, the images posted on EBAY are not good.

I am looking forward to Corgi's Gallipolli figures.

Cheers,
Benjamin

I have not forgotten the photos. For some reason I am having a tough time scaling down the size of the pictures to fit. Driving me crazy! Usually after several attempts I can make a go of it.

Ive got the ww2 british para & like you said there on the small side

Cool indeed. I like the glossy look of them to fit in with the First of the Few. Thanks Pete. I tried to do it but couldn't get the photos to look right.

Thank you Brad & Pete! Hopefully these images will help recruit another WW II aviation collector/pilot.

Is that a Franklin Mint Amour Collection B-17? I have been eyeing them with lust for the past couple of weeks.

Cheers Michael:

AFFIRMATIVE! I think I might have referred to it as Corgi earlier but that is the 1:72 scale version I was speaking of. This (Memphis Belle) pictured is the Armour/Franklin Mint version in 1:48 scale-and I do believe it is bigger than advertised per the pictures! It is quite a nice scale model which I did pick up on eBay at quite a savings. I have ALL of their Mosquitoes, Boyington's Corsair & a Midway SBD Dauntless as well.

Marc,

If I'm not mistaken the ME 109 is 21st Century? A very nice model.

Should have known. I'm still missing that one. I guess it goes to shows you good the 21st Century one was.

Please let me know if this Corgi Forward March 1:32 are mixable with W.Britains figures, or only with Frontline Elite troops ? 54, 57 or 60mm?

I've got a few of the Corgi figures. There is a little scale difference between some of them, but on the whole, they're 54mm (bottom of foot to top of head). In terms of scale, they mix with Frontline elite series just fine. They also work quite happily with W. Britain, Conte and ONTC.
