Corgi Forward March Series (1 Viewer)

I have picked a few of these figures up at "Tuesday Morning's" a retail chain here in the US.Mostly what they had where the single pilots and a few other odd's and end's. I think they were only 3-4 dollars apiece, so well worth the value. I was wondering how many were made in this series and is Corgi still purducing them? Anyone have a site that shows them all? Lots of rumors and I think Corgi has changed hands again, tough times for sure.Like Conte they are sometimes a year behind their catologue release dates with some said releases never making it to the market. I'm waiting on the Normandy tank buster Typhoon.

I don't have found a site but I collected pics from here, from there, there are some others:

, hope that can help you a little!

They had a seiries called WW@ Forward March. I don't know if that is the series you are refering to?
I don't know if the list was difinitive, but I think there were only 9 set produced (6 figures per set) in 1:50 scale to go with their 1:50 armour. 4 other sets were canceled and 5 more were announced for pre-order in 2007 but were never produced. I remember ordering some, but they never came into the store I ordered them through.

OK - Those. There were 3 series I know of related to aircraft. They had the same problems as the 1:50 series.

There was a series of 7 fighter aces. One sold out (Battle of Britain Scramble which I have), 3 are still available (Bud Anderson, Walter Nowatny, Sailor Milan) and 4 were cancelled.

The second series of figures was based on recruiting posters. There were 13 of them including a Canadian paratrooper. The Uncle Sam figure sold out. 2 were cancelled, but the other 10 can still be purchased.

The 3rd Series was of 13 Elite Forces and at least 7 are still available.

Other series included El Alamein, Trafalger, The Somme, Desert Storm, Civilians at War, Heroes, and Great Leaders. Some of those figures are still available.

Further on from my last post it should be pointed out that some of the projected figures may have had a limited production. I have seen some master patterns and some pre production figures, but do not know whether they went into full production.

Two more vignettes, a base with a tiled floor and a backdrop of a wall map with the figures of Schwarzkopf, De La Billiere and King Fahd, and a four man Bravo Zero team clearing buildings.

There was a lot of other figures planned which I will list when I get a moment, but the whole scheme seems to have had the plug pulled extremely quickly, as to why I don't know. The figures themselves are good, one or two have helmets that are too small and some of the painting is a bit bland, but overall not bad at all. My favourite piece is the blitzed house with the front blown away and all the interior detail, my least favourite the vignettes with half round tanks, the figures are OK but spoilt by the backdrop.I have some pictures which I shall try to enlarge and post.
