Yes - I have about 200 1:72 aircraft. 2/3 of them are Corgi and much of the rest are Hobby Master. Mostly WWII but also the early jets, Vietnam and the modern (just being retired) era.

I have a few. Used to have many more but couldn't sustain so many scales so I went with 1/30 and traded or sold most of the 1/72. I have an F-4 USN Phantom from the Sundowners that I really like. Just looks real sharp in that glossy gray. -- Al

I love the forward march figures! My favourite is the Falklands Para. Wish I could find the Royal Marine.

Terry,

Not quite as many as you but between Corgi, Hobby Master, etc. I have every single 1:72 dh98 Mosquito and Beaufighter produced. Another Corgi/Dinky addiction started in my early childhood collecting all of their vehicles that fired missiles and those infamous red or yellow plastic bullets. What is even more amazing is that I still have them including almost all of their original boxes-this marks the time stamp for the start of this +viral process of collecting scale military items-the first of which was the Tiger I tank. Great stuff-still remember wonderful Kursk like battles with my best friend with each of us taking turns firing the projectiles till there was a victor. The most dangerous was the Dinky Striker as I believe you got five shots with that one in a single turn!

Tally Ho,
Marc

I had the same Corgi/Dinky addiction as a child, and also have mine in their original boxes (some of which are a little beat up, especially the Dinky bubble plastic ones). I have been passing my Corgis along to my Son Alec (without the plastic rockets/shells - he will get them when he is a bit older and I am sure he won't shoot his little sister Ashley in the face). He now has the Hanomag rocket launcher, M60 Tank, Daimler Armored Car, and my favorite, the AMC Tank Recovery vehicle (missing only one of the three toy soldiers that came with it, the one squatting down). He has yet to get the Tiger and King Tiger tanks.

I am holding off on giving him the Dinkys until he gets older, as they have more breakable parts. He will be getting the Hanomag Tank Destroyer, Kubelwagon with the PAK 40, 155mm Self Propelled Gun, Bren Gun Carrier, Commando Jeep, and US 105mm with crew
