Guys..

Just looked at the UK prices for the Patton command vehicle and the Konigstiger £135 and £145 respectively really good value for money (not bad in the US either). Just amazing that the prices are so very well priced. Kudos to Brian at CS for setting the bar for quality and pricing

Well I also think credit goes to the UK dealers who do not use a £1 = $1 exchange rate like others do ;)

Plus, the great guys at TMT, are absorbing the increase in VAT on items below £150

To me that is customer focus :)

Cheers

Totally agree. After getting sticker schock from K&C on their dispaches today I am looking more and more at this great product. Larry.

I'm curious as to how CS can offer such a large, detailed, item such as the KT for such a good price while competitors prices are going through the roof. Just wondering. -- Al

Well I had the last K&C KT & got to say I was disappointed in the mould of the turret as it look all wrong but looking at CS KT it got a brilliant paint job + metal grills , blown tracks all for £140.00 to £220.00 for K&C one but what are we getting for the extra £80.00 ? these item are not high tec high spec

yes sir- I made the switch for their WW2 stuff earlier this year. Some scaling issues which have been presented but I am quite happy with their innovativeness, pricing and controlled releases. Take UKSUBS for example- with KC's release rate, there is no way you could buy all the versions of a King Tiger like he did/will. You'd fall into a hole, never to recover again.

Yes with increase K&C prices every year, I find myself looking & buying more CS products. I'll be very selective when it comes to K&C pieces and only buy what I really like from them. I've already orderd the Patton Car and King Tiger from CS and can't wait until they arrive.

Good thread and it's touching something that's been on my mind as well.

In no way am I bashing KC as I'm a large fan of their work as well, but do find CS vehicles to be strong contenders for my business.

For me it not just about price , for me the CS king tiger is miles better than K&C one , what I find odd other toy soldiers makers are charging more but there no improvement in detail for the extra cost

Its funny, and Brian may disagree, but, I was looking at the AK panzer I (its still one of my favourite pieces) CS released a few years back and off memory probably one of the first AFV's they did and, the quality was really very good then so, the quality has been there from day one IMO. All CS have done is widened the scope of AFV's they are doing.

Spot on, mate.:D In fact, certain new releases from other makers have taken a step backwards in detail.:(
