Yes you are correct, I was born in 1949 so they were before my time, they
were actually trending down as I became interested in Comics in the 1960's.
I read Mad Magazine and discovered these great books in the 1980's when
they were issued in hardback format. Many of the stories inspired movies,
and stories made famous by The Twilight Zone. Many of the original artists
became famous in their own right. I highly recommend picking up one of
these sets if you can locate one. Lots of fun to re-read.
