The Allies, led by French Morrocan Goumiers, stem the tide and press on into France........

George- really enjoy the shot in the tall grass- that is probably the best shot I have seen you do- well done.

Thanks Chris and Redhugh; hey Red, how'd you like to see me do a massive Stalingrad layout of the German assault on the factory position from the movie we all know and love by the same name?

I'd enjoy it, though I think you'd be really hard pressed to top some of the 15mm wargames we've seen on it. Bring it on sir!!

Would really really like to see you do the factory assault, :)

By the way, that stalingrad diorama on your website is a work of art, really liked the set-up of the three tiers of street, train and water,That one was really something else:cool:

Another great layout George. Don't you ever get tempted to break out all those 1/30 sets you've got laying about?

George,

You know I like your displays, this one is no exception :) The buildings are most impressive, such as this French farmhouse. Is this scratch built?

Bring on Stalingrad.....and your massed Napoelonic's.

Regards

Jeff

Chris, I like a challenge, I'll blow the doors off of any 15mm layout, but I'll admit I love the pics in the FOW books, I've got them all.

Red, I will do Stalingrad at some point; the dio you mentioned won a gold medal at the World Figure Expo held here in Boston several years ago.

Wraith, I can't mess with those sets, they are reserved for the buying public!

Jeff, the farms are all scratch built from plastic card and foam board; massed Napoleonics are on the horizon...........

George

Is your "grass" simply a nylon type rug?
If so that's darn innovative if not that's the finest grass mat I think I've seen

Reb

Thanks for the positive feedback Reb. The grass is actually Verlinden static grass, I bought quite a few bags of it and flocked it to four MDF boards that are 4 feet by 2 feet each.

I let the boards sti for a day, reflocked to cover thin spots and let that dry for another day. I then airbrushed a darker shade of green and a light shade of yellow here and there to give it that non putting green look if you know what I mean.

I'm really happy with the final result...........

Hey George, I would like too to see your Stalingrad dio. Concerning this one here , it is wonderfully well done as always my friend, great job.

George, could you provide your web site address, I loved to see your work again?

Cheers

Rod.

Looks Terrific George!!! Great job and great pictures. How did you do the wheat field?

Thanks Cap; the wheat field is teddy bear fur that you can buy at a fabric store, it comes in light, medium and dark shades.........
