Saw this grade B WW2 movie set during the Battle of the Bulge. Concerns a captured symphonic orchestra led by Charlton Heston forced to perform a final concert for German general Maximilian Scheel. Nice snatches of orchestral music here and there.
Saw another similar post WW2 movie about Dr Furtwangler, conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Taking Sides (2001) starring Harvey Keitel. This was a better nuanced film with great orchestral music.
