Small world.........my wife used to paint some of the Wild West range for Sarum Soldiers.

I like their western guys. Too bad he is retiring. I should order some. Leadmen
Marx western stuff and painted plastics along with originals.

Thanks for posting the shots leadmen ,
The only wild west stuff I had was playmobile
when I was a kid 4 different western buildings ,fort union
and wagons etc etc .I still have them all boxed up ,I gave
them too my oldest boy when he was about 6 or 7 to play
with .But he didnt have clue what to do with them so I had
to show him how to play with them :eek:.
aaaahhh the x box generation :).

My wife calls this one "the transvestite"(not to disparge or imply that there's anything wrong with being a transvestite!). Although she(the figure in the photo, not my wife)belongs to Britains farm series, she has a kind frontier/old west look about her, so I included her w/the Cornish hens).

And again, this very well could be Britains' depiction of an undercover British officer-i.e. Harry Flashman on many occasions wore a disguise during his frequent espionage missions, or just to escape from a very dicey situation.

He was always dressing up as a woman or a pathan horse trader! Great stuff! Thanks for the link to the website. George MacDonald Fraser is, along with Rudyard Kipling, my favorite author.
