Cracking decals on P40 (1 Viewer)

Just noticed this morning that the decals on my barely 2 years old P40 are showing cracks!{eek3}
Spitfire is OK and so are my more than 10 years old Corgi 1/32 Spit and my GMP 1/35 P40 and P51!

They look like they are cracking along the definition lines and, this can be rectified by applying with a soft brush some mat varnish. They may not have been applied correctly its always an issue if they are not pressed into the panel lines at the time of manufacturing.

I have seen this before and had to remedy it. I have never seen the decals on flat surfaces of the airbirds crack. They only crack and peel when incorrectly adhered to the panel lines

There are also hairline cracks across the widest part of the decals.
Picture was taken with my iPad and therefor the cracks are not visible.
Will try to post a better picture with my dslr with macro lens.
