I know that it is a bit early in the new year to ask, but does anyone (Tony?) have any firm info on what and how many figures are likely to be available this year? This is purely for budgeting reasons :rolleyes:

Jeff if my poor old Chocolate ravaged brain remembers rightly,Tony said 6-8 Scots figures from The Thin Red line and a couple of Horsemen for the charge?.If you drop him a pm i'm sure he'll fill you in.Tell him Roberta sent you!(its K&C UK's new name for me;))

I have to finish off the second wave at some point also. Just haven't figured out when.
 
I havn't figured out how to tell the wife i need to finish off the second wave yet!:eek:;)
 
Hi Jeff and all other K&C Crimean fans

I met with Andy in October and these are the plans we put forward for Andy to create some K&C magic:-

6 - 8 Scots of the famous 'Thin Red Line' reason for non set number, well cost!!! flag bearer, no flag bearer, piper, no piper, dead guy no dead guy!!. These are additional to the standing firing, loading etc. All in action poses with faces ready to take on the Russians.

The Flag bearer, piper and dead guys are all items we would like to do however we also have budget restraints.

There will be 2x Russian mounteds can be used TRL and at the back of the guns on the charge.

a mounted Capt Morris of the 17th for the charge. Andy wanted Nolan but as i pointed out at the moment our charge denotes the breaching of the guns............and Nolan did not get there!

These will be out in June.

December '08 well some great plans but thats too early to tell you what!

When I go on the K&C web site I can't see nothing related to the Crimean War :( where is these info + pics?

We touched on the idea of a set peice Strictly Limited run relevant to the Charge. Once the June release is out of the way we will be meeting up and talking about the December one!

The SL will be waaaaaaayyyyyy cool (Mckenna! in joke)

I think you may be looking at the K&C Hong Kong site for the Crimean stuff and they dont have it.


if you look at our site or Treefrogs you will find them there

I removed my post as i thought i sounded like i'd gone into a mad cockney rant that no one would understand!.I'm taking cough medicine today and its stronger than i thought:eek:;)

Tony, thank you very much for repling so quickly. These all sound great and look forward to seeing these later this year. This range has really bitten me (bug wise) and I must get the rest of the second release before so long.

Thats right isn't it,in fact he was killed with the first shell wasn't he?.Thats one of the striking things about K&C UK's Crimean range,the realism.

Charge will not be left alone. Nolan was the first to die and in the first half mile. so he did not make the guns
