CRIMEAN WAR - Crazy ? (1 Viewer)

Yea - this sounds like some kind of revisionist history - like the British winning at Waterloo :D

HA! Sun Tzu say foolish man reveal vital information to enemy, result in easy defeat!:D:):D Now all I need to complete the master plan is a dog biscuit and a tacticly placed pint of beer for distraction:D!

On second thought, I get this strange feeling that I'm falling victom to Tony's master plan:confused:? Once I'm caught up in his "inner sanctum" I might need an intervention, or a second job:D.

Like the end scenes from Indiana jones when he is looking for his father (Sean Connery) and the Holy Grail.

You can come in but if you choose wrong or try and take out of the zone of the Unit you burn! lol:D

Funny thing is Dog does not like biscuits and i am off the drink!!!!!

A stone in three weeks, well done mate. Can't believe your off the booze as well,i'd have thought you wouldn't have sobered up from Saturday yet!;)

Rob

Congratulations on the stone lost Tony. Just received the first 2 17th Lancers and they are things of beauty. About the best toy soldiers I've ever seen. Should have the flag bearer tomorrow and I assure you I'll have the rest in the next 2 weeks. Brilliant!

Have been busy collecting this range and thought I'd post a pic of the current line up. I still need to get most of the individual Russians. Thanks, K&C UK for these excellent figures. Looking forward to seeing more in December.

EXCELLENT ! MD

I have to start get cracking on this range myself. ;)

Thanks for the stunning photo. Boy, oh boy, these figures look...I have no words, I'll just go and take a glass of water and try and rationalize:D

Thanks for the comments guys. A skilled photographer I am not, but I certainly agree these are really great figures. Just go ahead and get some now so the Nevilles keep commissioning more. :)

Nice display going MD. Hoping to pick a few more pieces from this range while visiting Tony's place in England. Are you planning on doing any of the TRL figures as well?

Oh yes, I have one of each ordered already. At least the 6 highlanders....don't know about the Russian cav. figures yet...we'll see. I will be excited to hear about your trip and hope you'll take some photos for us.

MD

I had originally planned to do just the "Charge" Cavalry figures and the Russian guns but those Highlanders are just too:cool:. Guess I'll decide when I see them in person. Hope to get some great pictures from Bovington while I'm over there. I'll make my wife show me how to use this new album thing when we get back home in July.

Prices are crazy, too.

Can somebody explain me, why this Crimean War figures cost THE DOUBLE of other K&C figures ?

Price ? Compare at the detail on the 11th hussar to you typical WW2 figure. In the 1850s the troops dressed very well.
