Crimean War Figures (1 Viewer)

Thank you Harold.Like the idea of a riderless Horse, would a dead Horse be too strong?.Perhaps a wounded lancer on the floor or trapped under his horse, when you really sit and think of it there are loads of possible scenarios aren't there.I'm guessing Tony/Bob have thought of these already though,am very much looking forward to the next wave of the Crimea.:)

We all do!

Couple of things to remember..........The Crimean range is a Commision! K&C are making them for us. We have to pay for the design, box design and then all the production and shipping.........as they are then sent to the UK there are all the usual UK tax's. before we even think of making some money as a business!

Look Harry if anyone is going to be employed by K&C UK on a basis of compliments per post,it'll be ME alright mate!!!!:D;)

Its a super looking range and when the thin red line is released
I,ll probably jump in ,But when ever I weigh up my buying options
the fact I can bye a couple of other releases for the price of one
in this range that holds sway for me.
But Kudos to K and C UK for taking the punt on their own range
I,m sure the good old risk and reward will pay off for them.

But, but, but.....I'm only trying to be Nithth Wob.......:):)

Its already in the plan Rob.
What I want to do is a new dio for every new topic on the Crimean War that K&C UK release in future, then display them altogether on the wall of my cave at home.
This will of course include The Lady with the Lamp.....:):);)
When I was a kid, my old granny kept some really old portraits of the Crimean War in her "Glory-Hole". I don't know what you call it in England - but I'm referring to the cupboard most older people in Scotland have that contains items of endless fascination for a curious 10 year old. The Crimea and the Sepoy Mutiny have always been my favourite eras from the 19th century and I think it was those old pictures I used to sit on my knee and just get lost inside that sparked off the interest.
Oh, and the 1st Afghan War of course.

Careful

There is a Preacher lurking around here somewhere............;)

eer harry glory hole really means a lot different in England!!:D

Tony,
I'm not trying to be funny, nor do I wish to court trouble. The cupboard or spare room where assorted junk and other really interesting stuff was usually thrown was called a "Glory-Hole", especially in North-East Scotland where these kind of wonderfully descriptive words and phrases abound. Its rather an old word now I suppose, but I assure you it was in common usage when I was kid.
