Do any of you guys have a picture of the area where the charge took place? What is the terrain like? Sandy? Clay? Grass? I am going to make another display on the charge and I don't know what the terrain looks like where this event took place. Can someone here post a picture?

Thank you.

It was very baron with ploud fileds and dusty.

The 1968 film gives a very good picture of what it would have looked like.

The top end (start) of the charge was a ploud area leading to theis open baron plain.

By the time the charge finished there were hundreds of spent cannon shells.

On google you can see where these were cleared away and piled up

Hi Pierre,

Yes it did help thank you.I like those BBC Maps a lot,you can often find those and animated maps explaining many different battles in History on the BBC sites.Like the pics of the uniforms too.:)

I voted for the Zouaves since the Highlanders have already been produced. Are the Highlanders going to be available at Chicago?

Hi Kilted

Yes ALL the current sets will be on sale through TF at the show.

Need to work out the plans for K&C UK, with regards what we are taking. However I already have from Andy a set of pictures of the December releases so fingers crossed i may have the Masters for Chicago for us to show.

So show pre orders from TF to ensure your get what you want
