Hi

Is there a lack of discussion on the CS Napoleonics?

How about historical accuracy

To start, did anyone get the RHA Train? Any pics?

Do you think the soon to be released French Carabiniers' uniforms are historically accurate? I suppose the guy shooting the rifle on horseback is a bit off target. So I plan to get all except for this shooting guy.

Don't know about the uniform accuracy but I'm a big fan of the CS Naps cavalry. I have a collection of the Cuirasseurs and Chassuers. I also do not purchase the fig firing the carbine. Plan to buy the Caribiniers, again not including the fig with the carbine. Chris

I really, really wanted the Scots Greys. The best sculpturing
I have seen bar none. However, the paint job isn't up to any
expectations. First of all greys don't have polka dots, nor
are they uniform from one horse to the next. Big disapointment.
I've wanted a set of Scots Greys for sometime. Alas, I have to
pass again. A shame really. Do a first rate model then do
a cheap paint job on the horses. Amazing.

I would say it was not a paint job that you cared for. Cheap it is not. I would be glad to repaint a set for you if you'd like. I could redo the horses for you at about $15.00 each plus the return shipping.

As for the rest of the Naps go I like the Old Guard. I believe them to be the best that I have seen thus far. Have not really looked at the RHA.
