Thanks to Tim over at 'Troops of Time', I was able to get my hands on both winter versions of the CS PzKW IV. I finally had time today to open the non-zimmerit version (#114) and I've gotta say that I'm glad I made this purchase. The 'Panzer IV' is one of my favorites (yet so rarely made in our scale for some reason) and the CS version doesn't disappoint. From the sculpting of the figures, the option to display the tank as a "runner" or a "wreck" (with a casualty) to the cuppola mounted machine-gun (a nice surprise), I think CS has produced a winner. I've decided to go ahead and glue the shurzen struts to the shurzen to keep 'em attached (they even numbered each strut and shurzen mount point to ensure that even a goof like me assembled the struts correctly). From a scale standpoint, I compared the CS Pzr IV to my Figarti Bergepanzer IV and the CS is just a bit longer in hull length-and they'll look quite well together.
I'll try to take a few pics later and post 'em when the glue drys. Nicely done CS !!!

Mike...

Its such a good AFV I have decided to buy a second and play around with it and change the markings. One of the best sets on the market IMO at the moment.

Mike,
I used super glue for the struts and skirting and it worked out fine. The skirts attach easily, stay on and pop right off. It is a great model!

Thanks ! I ended up doing the same as my ever-handy model glue had dried out due to lack of use (lol). I have to agree, it's a winner.
