Just a small scene I whipped up. Recycled my ''Bulge'' diorama, I see it as a space and cost effective way to show different battles{sm4}. I was going to photograph something for ''Australia Day'' which is tommorow. Turns out the closest thing to an Australian I have is WWI Tommy! So here it is..The Charge at Eylau, both Old Guard and Cuirassier. As a side not, what is your favourite Napoleonic unit?

I've heard rumours about new French cavalry from K&C, do you think this could be it? Or will it be lancers, or more cuirassier?

As far as I know the rumor is about the horse grenadiers and I hope it's true (and still hoping for some mamelukes too :wink2. We have enough lancers and cuirassiers!

Splendid pics Iron Duke, been good to see your collection since you joined{bravo}} They are great French cavalry figures and remind me of the Airfix plastic 1/72 I had as a kid way back when, happy days!

From purely the TS perspective its hard to go past any cavalary unit for sheer impact and colour.....from a Napoleonic perspective the choice has to be split between the Scots Greys and the Cold Stream Guards....................the sun never sets on the Empire!

They can add up though can't they? One of the reasons I stayed away from WW 2 figures was my feeling that the cost of vehicles would make it prohibitive. But as you say, the cavalry is quite magnificent, but eight or nine figures and its eight hundred dollars.
