Hi Marcus,

and its back to relegation fights .......

Amazing set up. Theses are my favourite JJD figures. I think you have inspired me to buy a few more

I posed John a question about more figures for this range a couple of years ago, and he said he was going to do Scottish cavalry (Bagot's Hussars or the Prince's Lifeguards), but by now I am not to sure if it is still in the pipeline.

I would love a few mounted highlanders and also a few Scottish gunners or a few French. There were 12 French gunners that served with the Jacobite army. I hav3 a few of the 7 years war French artillery but would love some specifically fir Culloden

Andrew,

That is one magnificent set up!! Very well done!!

I love how you were able to incorporate a photo of the actual battle field into your scene. A photo you took no less.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

I think you have also influenced me to get a few more flags as well. I have a few but need about 4 flagbearers to complete the set. Yours look so amazing and i thnks its the flamboyance of the flags thats adds to the scene.

totally agree with you Jase......the dynamic animation and "flow" of the flags is so cool, and it matches the same charcteristic in the figures - especially that wonderful Jacobite officer in the great coat. I remember john mentioning in the past that it was this study of motion and flow in the highlander garments that originally attracted him to this range.

best,
Andrew
